  1. The character seems real to me, because he has just gone out of a concentration camp and is very quiet and tries not to attract anyone´s attention. He is a round character, because he startsbeing afraid of everything and he learns lots of things that help him survive while he scapes. He is brave, beause he entered in a little house that was on fire, he is curious because he wanted to learn everything he could learn from the outer world. There are other words to describe him like considerate, gentle, honest, quiet and trustworthy.

  2. David is the principal character, he seems real, because he was a real and, at that moment, common.. David had been kidnapped in a concentration camp, and separated from his family.. With help, David escapes and has many adventures..He is an active boy, he is always doing something, sometimes he is in dangerous places, but he is intelligent and always goes out of problems.. For me, he is a nice boy, he is honest, gentle and frienly..

  3. “I am David” written by Anne Holm, talks about a child that escapes from a concentration camp and want to get to Denmark. The story takes place in a concentration camp, at the end of the second world war.
David is helped to escape from a concentration camp and is given a bundle. The guard that helped him said he had to go through north and get to a country called Denmark. In the trip, he passes through lots of adventures, good and bad adventure.
My favorite part is when David saves Maria from the fire. David was very brave at the moment.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes the story of the world war.

  5. i think davis it can´t be real because in a book in general the characers aren´t real and davis is a character he is not real,I also think david fit with the things that happened to him in the book because when he gets out of the consentration camp he is not using expensive clothes unlike he whent to rhe river and cleaned the clothes for 1º time, also davis i think it´s a round character because at first time he is very shy but in the end he is not shy any more

  7. I am David is about a kid that had been separated from his family and he was at a concentration camp. He had knew a man who was a soldier that helps David to escape from the camp.
David, a kid, was kidnapped and separated from his mother and father and taken to a concentration camp. A soldier, who was in love with David´s mother, helped him with an adventure plan, to escape. David wanted to find his mother in Denmark following the soldier´s instructions. In the travel he goes in a boat to Italy.
My favorite part was when david was with the dog and the dog started running to a concentration campand the soldiers follow it and he run and then he heard a shot and started crying.
I recommend this book to the ones that like adventure books.

  8. The character seems real to me too, because he acts the way a boy raised in a Concentration Camp would, being shy and quiet around people, and really curious about every little thing that may seem normal to us, but completly strange to him. He is a round character, he changes a lot from the beggining of the book to the end, and it shows when he socialize with other people. He is adventurous and brave, because I would not travel like he did, know nothing about the world. He is curious, wanting to know what everything is, but quiet and serious too, as he is really careful around people

  11. The character doesn´t seem real to me because a boy can't escape from a concentration camp. His actions fit what we know about him, because the things he does are acording to a boy that escapes from a concentration camp.Davis is a round charecter bacause he changes his personality form when the book starts untill the end. His charecter trails are, adventurous, quiet, sad, poor, dangerous, courageus.

  12. David it seems so real to me because I understand him and understand the situation he was passing throught. In addition, I think the caracter fit perfect with his actions this means all is conectied with his past. However I think he is a round caracter because he always remember his past and his action make reference on it everytime he make little changes that he learn on his trip.

  13. I am David is a fiction book written by "Anne Holm" in 1963. In the United States, the book was at first called North to Freedom, but it is now also being published there as "I am David". It tells the story of a young boy who, with the help of a prison guard, escapes from a concentration camp in Eastern Europe in Bulgaria, and journeys to Denmark. Along the way he meets interesting people and has many adventures.
